From Sparrnbach, our own monopoly side here in Iphofen - we are the only winery who is allowed to grow vines there. We re-cultivated this beautiful area 10 years ago. The soil is very stony and a mixture out of shell limestone and Keuper.
Pressed on the old basket press and fermented in small barrels. We kept the Chardonnay 22 months on the full lees in the barrels to let him develop his full potential.
